Public Notice: The Union County Health Department is informing the public of the potential for exposure to measles. People without vaccination against measles or without other known immunity1 who were at Meijer at Coleman’s Crossing Blvd, Marysville, on Dec. 23 from 9am-noon or Dec. 26 from 2-5pm should watch for signs and symptoms of measles and call their healthcare provider if they develop symptoms. It can take up to 21 days to develop symptoms from time of exposure. Click here for CDC’s FAQ about measles.

1 Note: CDC considers evidence of immunity to include at least one of the following: people born prior to 1957, people with laboratory evidence of immunity, people with laboratory confirmation of measles, or people vaccinated against measles in according with ACIP recommendations.
