- Events are for residents of Union County, Ohio.
- Tires must be off-rim.
- Limit of 10 tires per load. Individuals may bring multiple loads.
- No commercial disposal of tires. Residential disposal only.
- No tractor, semi or other oversized tires.
- Car, truck, van, bicycle tires welcome.
- Event is a drive thru service. Event staff and volunteers will unload tires.
- This disposal event is free and made possible by mosquito control grant funds from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency awarded to the Union County Health Department.
This event is designed to provide an opportunity for Union County residents to dispose of unused or unwanted tires on their residential prosperities. This is a great opportunity to dispose of one or two tires sitting next to the garage or 10 tires from the fields. The goal of free community tire collections is to reduce mosquito breeding grounds within Union County. Tires left outside on properties make ideal breeding grounds for mosquitoes.
